Authentix announced today their newest portable fuel analyzer, LSX 3000, to further enhance the Authentix Vigilant offering in combatting the illicit trading of fuel.
Authentix's Vigilant is the leading choice for countries seeking a complete end-to-end offering for fuel supply chain protection that includes a suite of markers and analyzer technology, the powerful Authentix Information System (AXIS) and comprehensive services.
Vigilant programs are now able to leverage LSX 3000 advancements in performance to prevent the flow of illicit fuel when and where it is first detected. LSX 3000 provides immediate quantitative testing results delivering information beyond pass/fail to support immediate action at a terminal or retail location.
"Authentix is committed to advancing science and technology for a better world and the advancements in our LSX product family of fuel analyzers delivers on that promise," said Kevin McKenna, President, Authentix Oil and Gas. "LSX 3000 was developed in partnership with our existing Vigilant customers and incorporates their desire to perform more roadside tests and take immediate action in halting the illicit trade of fuel."
Vigilant is now more effective in the field with improvements in usability that reduce sampling time and streamline data collection. Weighing only 3.4 kg, LSX 3000 can be hand carried and does not require specialized vehicle mounting equipment. LSX 3000 works with a supplied touch screen tablet running AXIS, which guides the operator through the testing workflow with simple prompts. LSX 3000 uploads the testing data automatically to AXIS for aggregation and analysis. Battery life for the LSX 3000 is extended to more than 24 hours of continuous run time, allowing operators to use it for multiple days in the field without recharging.
Vigilant strengthens its position as the most trusted and experienced offering in combatting the illicit fuel trade with this third generation of LSX fuel sample analyzers. LSX 3000 works in concert with Authentix covert markers, the Authentix Information System, and Authentix Services and Support, for the only complete offering in the fight against the illicit trade of fuel.
