IBM runs another ad on traceability in pharma

IBM logoIBM has started screening another advertisement to promote its activities in the area of tracking medicines along the supply chain as a means to fight counterfeiting.

The two-minute ad features Paul Chang, programme director of worldwide industry solutions at IBM, and research executive Tony Liu, and focuses on the application of individual codes to medicine packs, and using those codes to for traceability purposes.

The ad shows images of codes supplied via 2D datamatrix and emphasises their use in the context of data sharing with trading partners.
