Covectra names director of new business for pharma

Track and trace and serialization specialist Covectra has named Andre Caprio as its new director of business development for pharmaceuticals and healthcare.

Caprio joins the Westborough, Massachusetts-based company from LSPediA, having previously worked at TrackTraceRx, and has recently been concentrating on compliance with the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA), participating in multiple track and trace projects with pharma distributors in the US, Europe and Latin America.

At Covectra, Caprio will be charged with finding new customers for Covectra's track and trace technologies, including its new StellaGuard 2.0 smart label which combines track and trace with authentication that can be carried out using a smartphone.
