Keesing names Richard de Goederen commercial director

Dutch security document technology specialist Keesing has appointed Richard de Goederen as its new commercial director.

The company said de Goederen has a broad background in the tech sector, with more than 25 years' experience in different sales, marketing, and leadership roles at Xerox, Oracle, and Microsoft, amongst other companies. He has been part of several start-up initiatives in areas including customer relationship management (CRM), Internet of Things (IoT) and data management solutions.

"I love building trust-based relationships which enables a healthy way of doing business together with Keesing customers, partners and employees," said de Goederen of his new role. He will report to Jan Lindeman, who became Keesing's managing director last September.

Keesing's technology range is centred around AuthentiScan, an identity verification platform aimed at border control, immigration, police and customer screening applications that can be used to authenticate documents such as passports, identity cards, residence permits, visas, and driving licenses.

It also operates Documentchecker, said to be world's largest ID reference database.
