TraceLink and Catalent link up on supply chain
Supply chain security technology company TraceLink has forged an alliance with Catalent Pharma Systems in a move that reinforces its bid to move further into the pharmaceutical arena.
TraceLink was formed last year specifically to acquire SupplyScape, a company specialising in traceability and authentication software platforms.
The new partnership with Catalent - a specialist pharmaceutical manufacturing, packaging, and product development services company - is designed to help Catalent’s clients improve their visibility over “the entire manufacturing and packaging product lifecycle.”
Catalent says it plans to evolve the programme based on customer feedback of data sharing and business process collaboration needs. The program will be launched throughout its network starting in the third quarter of 2010.
