3C Integrity joins forces with Excellis

Two serialisation specialists serving the pharma industry - 3C Integrity and Excellis Health Solutions - have agreed to a merger.

After the merger goes through, 3C will operate as a subsidiary of Excellis Health - incorporating the current Excellis Europe operation - with a management team comprising Excellis' Frederic Menardo and 3C's Christoph Krahenbuhl and Ian Haynes.

Krahenbuhl said the move will give 3C Excellis Europe increased capacity and allow it to offer "a full serialisation service consultancy" to pharma manufacturers, contract manufacturing organisations (CMOs) and repackagers as well as to distributors and wholesalers in the pharmaceutical and life-science industries.

"This is a strategic move that will strengthen our position in leading the serialization adoption effort in Europe [and] also allows us to develop new products that will help pharma companies meet the forthcoming serialization deadlines," he said.
