Brief: $2m fake good shipment seized in Florida

US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers have seized counterfeit footwear, handbags, headsets/ear buds and USB adapters at West Palm Beach port.

Numerous pallets containing the fake merchandise were seized by the CBP and local enforcement officers on June 14. The counterfeits had been shipped from China and were destined for Nassau, Bahamas and had a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of over $2m.

The shipment was manifested as containing footwear, ladies handbags, tissue and assorted goods, and on inspection the merchandise was found to bearing counterfeit trademarks.
