GSSC forges brand protection alliance with Sun Chemical

Graphic Security Systems Corporation and Sun Chemical have signed a license agreement that will allow the use of Sun’s proprietary security solutions such as its Verigard machine-readable covert taggant system, alongside GSSC's technologies, which include encoded identifiers.

The two companies said the move expands their capabilities to authenticate branded consumer products - such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, personal care, alcohol and tobacco products - and increase protection levels against counterfeiters. 

"This alliance brings much more than technology," said Scott Perkins, chief operating officer at GSSC. "Our service and the integrity of our products are now further expanded on a global scale and we look forward to working with the entire Sun Chemical team to achieve mutual goals."
